When I have the mean reds I often stop by P's page, Crissy's page, Kristy's page, or Melissa Lion's page for some light or not so light reading. Eloquent or foul-mouthed and sometimes both, these women bring me back from my mean reds and make me laugh unabashedly at their antics and tumble their thoughts around my head until I have grasped all the little nuances.

I know that these women often do not think of themselves as brave or even innovative, and yet I find them so. I wish I had their skills in word-smithing to write riveting little vignettes about my day, observations, or feelings.

Alas... I am not them.
